Today I am hoping to start a vlog for friends only here on Vox. I've been doing video diaries just for myself for a few months now and I've been looking for somewhere online to share them with friends - and not the general public who may be harsh with comments. I've learnt that Vox is the best place for storing and sharing videos which you can set for friends only. So - if anyone reading this would be interested in sharing video diaries or vlogs with me please leave a comment and perhaps we could friend each other and go from there. I'll be writing publicly here about my experiences doing my vlogs and what they bring up and I hope to encourage others to vlog here at Vox too as no one seems to be doing it (apart from one woman I saw at Heartbreak Art). Come on everyone - join in!

I wrote my profile yesterday after reading quite a few on here and noticing how honest people are. I favour honesty myself but I was unsure (as always) how honest to be online. I'd like to share much more about who I am and how I'm doing and I hope I can do that here. I said on my profile that I'm trying to do a daily video diary which will remain private and I think this is still prudent but perhaps I can just keep the video part of posts private and the added text can be shared - at least with those I hope to consider friends. I think it's really brave of people to share their lives like they do in blogs. I also just want to write more instead of relying on my videos so much (they are sooo much easier to do (for me) than writing - as I'm so often too tired to concentrate enough to write accurately enough - by which I mean authentically enough). I'm also easily distracted by this blog's multi-media opportunities. So much to do/post... I quess if I get good feedback to this post I'll feel better about sharing. I have an LJ blog but haven't felt able to share much more than meme results so far. I hope Vox will be more suited to me as it's a smaller community and less bogged down with distractions.
